I think we have finally figured out where we will be at once the snow flies. You can check this link out to see what it will look like. We will have a two stall garage and a porch like the green one, (and not either of those colors).

This is the dozer Matt used to clear our road, drive and pad where the structure will go.
The flat part here is where it will go with porch overlooking the hill to the left.

It was great hearing from you. We're happy about the interim quarters....It sounds great. In the old days the family was on one side of the house, and the horse, cow and chicken were on the other side. An interesting arrangement. We found the ruins of one such dwelling on the back road to Cedarville when we went to college. A very long time ago.
Hope things continue to go well for you and your family. Miss you so much. I can't believe it's been two years. Nancy and I had the house raised and a new foundation put under it. We've used most of our TIAA retirement account to do it....but it's worth it. The house stands two feet higher off the ground. The House has a bog under it, which meant we had to have an extra wide footer. All the heating and cooling ducts had to be replaced. Lots of plumbing replaced. Inside ductwork done right this time. We had cool air ducts that went nowhere making the furnaces job difficult and spotty....Everything works now....We've still got lots to do. The siding needs to be worked on. The garage door needs to be lower. We've got new exterior doors that are wonderful. The utility room and bath are being worked on....looking great. We're both tired, but glad for theprofessionals who knew what they were doing.....
Still it was a lot of money. We couldn't have sold the house the way it was.....Interestingly now we have no plans to sell it . My neighbor was hired to re-do the yard by tilling with a tractor. It's looking better. The yard was destroyed when the house was lifted up.....It stands proud now. Another friend is re-doing the downspouts and re-leveling the gutters. Another friend we've hired to lay a wood floor in the dining room. Interesting days, but not nearly as fun as yours.
We love you all....
